Doll Show

I checked my facebook this morning and I was surprised to see that the Doll show was on up here so I wasnt missing out on that sadly there was only 1 shop selling minis but I found a couple of things

 

 I have been searching for a sink unit with a butlers sink and what did I find?

  I was so pleased it cost $12

 there is no sink drain hole I'll have to fix that and I want it a different colour

this is the one I would have loved to find but have been searching a while sadly cant find it

 

 I found these 2 kits for $4 each

Beds

I  have been making some bed linen for a couple of beds my mini friend Judy made

I cant keep on the one thing till its finished it seems

My bed is being made for the Mill not sure they look quite right though!!

Tudor roombox

well I have to own up that I do make these things but never really finish them off to the standard I would like. 
eg: door handle, roof, light, front hinged on with a window so I thought I better get it done

 

The Box

 

This is where I am puting a light just setting it in there it will have 2 AA batteries in a box at the back

 I learned from Casey to make plans so here are my plans for the front window it may be a little too big so I will see how it looks when I have the actual front cut out

  I may put some shutters on as well but not sure if I will have enough room, maybe I should just cut the windows out  and add the shutters on the front,i would be easier!

mmm any suggestions would be appreciated

I have decided to sell my dollhouses!!!! yikes!!!

I still  have 2 kit houses to make

I have 2 tudors the finish so I'm not entirely finishing with them all together!

I am going to take them to an auction place here in Town firstly then I will move further afield

its time!!!

I want to make a little white shabby chic house and I really want to buy a doll

Ive been a bit quiet from my blog

 I have been working in my garden seeing as it is autumn puting in vegetables for winter 
GARDEN!

 Here's Jessie waiting for me to throw the ball,we have this game twice a day, the lawn is looking great! Very proud of that!

The little vege garden, seeds of parsnip, zucchinis, peas,plus marigolds to keep the bugs at bay and some capsicums which I love to crunch on, also there is a huge bunch of parsley growing on the other side and the spinach as you see, still have a few more things to put in maybe cabbage

In my craft room I have been pulling out all sorts of projects not yet finished! So here are a few that I have found and am trying to finish

 mmm I found this piece I had finished now what do I make out of it a cushion, a hanging all be it small mmmmm still thinking

 This is what I am doing now I have the fence to finish and the sky, the row of hearts and I need to find out what I have used along the edge as the one I was using to finish the top of the piece around the top does not match

 I forgot about this one I love it! I have had this piece for years..... its time!!!!

I also found some knitting I was doing for my Grandy not finished!!! dear me!!!

Oh well here goes 

Has anyone a pattern for a Banded Bag for storage or know where I can get one, please, like this photo

I have so many fabrics from my quilting days so I think this would be the perfect solution to using up all those

PS: not good at pattern making Im afraid!

Fairy Garden

Oh I forgot to show you the garden I made over Christmas
My Daughter has been looking at all the wonderful goodies you guys can buy in the states for these gardens and she wants to make one after thebig snow over there I thought hang on I have a pot somewhere here I will make one so off I went to the nursery, these plants are not cheap though I think I paid over $5 for 1.
 I thought it wouldn't be very expensive, so small,so I picked them out and fronted the check out! I was a bit shocked when she told me the price......Too Late!!!! had to bite the bullet and take them as there was a huge line up there waiting! what can ya do! lol Shame!!! Things I get myself into lol

 

So anyway its cute!  the little house is tin and has a candle inside, a battery one that is!

Time Flys

Hi Everyone!    Well I haven't had time to come on and check out whats going on I love the tennis and absolutely have to watch the Australian Open, so a load of time has gone and due to my eyes playing up at night,I'm not getting a lot done, today I decided to try to get this table runner at least the top finished but NO! I haven't as yet!

I have so many projects here to finish!

Here are some of my projects in this basket, yes, all sewing in some form or another lol

I have my chair covered up due to my cat who looses vast amounts of hair and covers my lovely red chair so there's nothing else for it but to cover it with an old sheet

And here is my desk right now I actually hate a lot of mess when Im working so whats up with this desk then!!! lol 

I purchased this kit some time ago, I hate to say it has to be over 15 years, before I came here

Gosh!!! so i thought I had better get this done, I wasn't happy with the actual designs on the pattern so I have to make a few changes here and there, oops I see I have sewn that up wrong Arrggghhhh!!!!

they have to be opposites!!!

At the moment I am stitching these silly little things! they are very frustrating as I cant get the circles the same I also have to make a few leaves that's going to be tricky, wish I didn't start that now!

I did mark them but my eyes! that's what I am blaming anyway! lol

My Christmas tree

This is my small tree which we have in the family room

I made most of the decorations as I couldn't find many here in my city

I found 3 wooden stars,12 pine cone decs, I painted white, the large star at the top of the tree and the 3 birds so I got stuck in and I made the rest

made little Quilt today

For my Mini  friend, Jood!

took a while to make the cushion but it turned out quite well!!!

And yes I can make 3 more.......

I thought 1 little ornament was a bit of a let down for the children so here are 3 more

* yes my camera has started to work again thank goodness I was very worried as it was quite expensive! so here's hoping!

So thought I should get on with some little gifts for my Nieces and nephews

 Not too sure that the mouth of the Gingerbread man is quite right~ Have to finish their eyes
One each for the children, I wonder if I can make 3 more...mmmm

 I have made 2 Christmas bags before for my Niece and Nephew and then they had another little boy so I made this one for him

 And then I thought I would make a bunting for the children to hang up for Christmas

Oh Im so proud of myself to actually get this finished lol

In those double doors is a walk in robe fitted with shelving

and they are full I have scrapbooking papers, lemax, dept 56, minis, and landscaping supplies I could show you but you'd faint so I better not! lol

Inside the Mill

I have taken a couple of photos of the inside of the Mill

But it seems my camera is showing that its now Locked..... no idea why! weird

Need a bed in here I think!

I Have a pile of bits and piece to put together for the grinding the seed  part of this Mill but have not worked it out as yet!

I didn't get time to finish the inside in class

The Chimney

Oh dear Shamus is supposed to be picking corn for supper

 Im not sure what he is doing there

Found a bed .....and made a house

Searching for the flowers I found a bed ......didnt find the flowers though

This bed I had made a while ago using a 1inch thick MDF cut to size added some white card around the sides and cut out the headboard with my scrollsaw from Balsa

I thought I will make some linens well I have made the mattress using card and batting covered with sheeting and the top sheet

Still thinking about using  this pretty mauve fabric for the quilt!

then I saw Kathryn Krieger's latest Video on making a Christmas cottage and that was the end of that other idea ! lol

This is all I have done so far its actually for a photo album but Im making it to put a candle in it for my Christmas table display tomorrow I will make the roof section I ran out of time today!

I will try to finish it tomorrow after I have polished my car! Some days one has to tackle the real world stuff!!
