Busy Busy Busy

Shame I haven't got to the minis for a while!
We had visitors for a couple of days and had such fun,they have gone home now.
Since then I have been very busy keeping up with my husband who cannot drive as yet, so he had me all over the city yesterday we left at 9am to meet with his worker, then home for a bit,then to another appointment at 11am, back home for lunch then to the Physio at 1pm, back to his work place 25 minutes away from our house, then I went to my sons house to do a few chores for him and didn't get home till 6pm! Whew I was so tired!
For a person to only go out 3 days a week to everyday for 7 weeks is all a bit much!
WHY?? cause NO MINIS!!!!!lol I guess it won't be long and I will be saying!
Gosh it's boring around here !

Shabby painting

Now this was the hardest of all very small to be painting nice clear lines

mmmmmm it looks a bit bashed up I wouldn't have it my bedroom or any other room for that matter lol

Been dragged behins a ttruck I think! lol

I had a hard time painting over the brown with the white and now it looks a bit think maybe Im using the wrong paint!

I thought I would make a bookcase to play around with the Shabby paintwork and I made it out of card
then I painted it pink and top coat 3 times of off white and this is how it came out

Here is the result, Im still working on the orange and blue one, my eyes were getting blurry so I will attempt to finish tomorrow

Roof

I actually had a little time to fix the roof

I wasn't sure what to use in the end I decided to use egg carton and I'm quite pleased with how it turned out

I cut strips 1inch wide then just cut them freehand with the scissors

I just roughly painted the roof blue grey so I wouldn't have any white undercoat showing through, it prolly didn't matter

This was one of those little black prams which I covered

Now I need a baby for it I guess & perhaps a little quilt

Just a note

I haven't been doing lot these last few weeks my hubby is in hospital and will be a few more weeks
So with visiting and doing all the other things around here, sadly my Half house has not been touched, my fingers are itchy to get back to it!
I wanted to have it all finished for the BMEA on the 20th September but doesn't look very hopeful right now! Oh well best laid plans of mice and men............

Another Quilt

I actually made this quilt for my bed, I took a photo of the square in paint added more blocks & a border & printed it out on fabric using the freezer paper method, so here is the mini quilt.

I'm not sure how that black mark got there, I have had it in a box for months, I will try to remove that carefully!
